As an independent celebrant, I am passionate about creating personal, dignified and respectful funeral services.
Whilst I am still undertaking my accreditation as a celebrant, I am an experienced funeral professional, having spent the last four years working as a funeral arranger.
Faced with returning to work after welcoming my second child in July 2024, I decided to start a part time role in a primary school, allowing me much more time with my young children. Whilst I greatly enjoy this new challenge, my passion for caring for the bereaved and creating personal, heartfelt farewells hasn’t faltered, and I wasn’t ready to step away completely.
I have always found working in the funeral industry to be both rewarding and very interesting; I love meeting new people and hearing all about their lives, the fascinating stories of days gone by and the memories that they have of their loved one.
